A trait associated with mental or emotional reactions. Roleplay relating to this trait should correspond with the rules of any stated effects, although specifics on how you roleplay are highly subjective. Examples:

  • If you're "repelled" by madness, you might roleplay incoherent babbling or wild flailing as you retreat, rather than simply stepping away.
  • If you're "imbued" by madness, you might roleplay acting off the wall or flailing wildly, rather than saying thanks. Actually... if you're getting imbued by madness you probably ARE crazy.

Many players attempt creative roleplay responses, but all roleplay should still include any required reactions resulting from the associated effect, such as falling down, stopping movement, crying out, stopping attacks, etc.

Abilities that remove "mental" effects would be effective against attacks that include this trait.
